Welcome to Party Plug! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Party Plug website, platform, and services (“Services”). By accessing or using Party Plug, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use Party Plug. By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

2. Account Registration

You must create an account to access certain features.

  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Use of the Platform

You agree to use Party Plug only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

  • You will not use the platform to post or transmit any false, misleading, or inappropriate content.
  • You will not attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the platform.

4. Services and Bookings

  • Party Plug connects clients (“Users”) with event professionals and vendors (“Professionals”).
  • All bookings, payments, and communications must be conducted through the Party Plug platform.
  • Users and Professionals are responsible for honoring their commitments and agreements made through the platform.

5. Payments and Fees

  • All payments are processed securely through Party Plug’s payment system.
  • Service fees, platform fees, and any applicable taxes will be clearly disclosed before you confirm a booking or purchase.
  • Party Plug may use an escrow system to protect both Users and Professionals. Funds are released to Professionals only after the successful completion of the event or service.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation and refund policies are outlined on our Refund Policy page. Users and Professionals are responsible for understanding and adhering to these policies before making or accepting a booking.

7. Disputes and Resolution

  • If a dispute arises between a User and a Professional, either party may raise a dispute through the platform.
  • Party Plug will review the dispute and may request additional information or evidence from both parties.
  • Party Plug’s decision on disputes is final and binding.

8. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you post or upload to Party Plug, but grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with the Services. You are responsible for ensuring that your content does not infringe on the rights of others or violate any laws.

9. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any fraudulent or illegal activity.
  • Post false, misleading, or defamatory content.
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
  • Attempt to access or use another user’s account without permission.

10. Termination

  • Party Plug reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
  • You may close your account at any time by contacting support.

11. Limitation of Liability

Party Plug is not responsible for the actions or omissions of Users or Professionals. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by Professionals. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Party Plug and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Party Plug, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the platform or violation of these Terms.

13. Changes to These Terms

Party Plug may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on our website. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
